THE OBAMA AMENDMENT Print E-mail
To defeat terrorism the economic relations between the US and Moslem world should hinge on the cessation of gender and religious apartheid by the latter. Now that will be a global Change

Dear Mr. President:

If God installed you at the helm of a great nation, this means He has a plan for you. He has hopes for you, and huge ones, just as He does for every leader with enormous power. If you are a true Christian, then you should be able to relate to this Jewish view of Providence.

The Lion King and Zionism Print E-mail
Just like in the famous musical, ‘lions’ of the Israeli Left usurped the throne

Dr. Dmitry Radyshevsky

Published: 11.14.08, 12:53 / Israel Opinion

Attending matinees with children can be highly educational. Take The Lion King that we went to see the other day. If there’s anyone left who hasn’t seen the cartoon, the story is simple and solid - think Richard III meeting Mowgli. Once upon a time there lived a Lion King, a strong and noble leader of his pride. But his mean and mangy younger brother would hang out with lowly jackals, envious of his ruling brother and waiting for his time to strike, when the maned monarch would die and he would inherit the throne.

Obama in the Tube
New posters have made appearance in the London Tube: Barack Obama waving to passengers, with a large “10” in the background. I have to admit it was not until the train pulled out of the station and the candidate’s infectious smile vanished from view that I figured it out: the “10” had to stand for a certain Downing Street address. The message conveyed had to be, Obama Is Good for Britain.

Thesis on the Mission of Aliya
1. CHOICE OF OBJECTIVE
1. Israel has lost its raison de vivre. At the first stage of its existence, it had an objective called “Zionism”. Now Israel no longer has a national idea, a direction – a Mission. Liberals and most of the middle class sabras want to turn Israel into a moderate Middle-East Holland. Haredim want to have a Jewish Iran.

Opening remarks at the Second Jerusalem Summit Asia
In Seoul (South Korea)in 2005

Ladies and Gentlemen, dear hosts of the Summit:
I am deeply touched by your hospitality and the hospitality of all Korean people.
This warm close feeling seems so much more striking if we pose this question: We belong to different civilizations, we speak different languages, we practice different religions, and we live thousands of kilometers apart. So what is it that we have in common?

Israel needs Perestroika Print E-mail
Israel’s political system as rotten as the USSR’s under Brezhnev.

Israel’s Russian-language community, which makes up more than 20% of Jewish population, feels deep revulsion not only for Olmert and his incompetent cabinet, but for the rotten ideology, the political system, and the political culture of the ruling establishment as well. In the realm of ideology we want to replace post-Zionism with universal Zionism. In politics, to separate legislative and executive branches and move on to Presidential system. In political culture, replace the nepotism with meritocracy. Otherwise Israel will not survive.

Israel has to take the lead Print E-mail
An elderly Filipino woman came up to me. “Are you Jewish”
“Yes,” I said.
“Hurray! I have been praying for Israel every day for ten years. Can I have my picture taken with you?”

This scene repeated many times at the Jerusalem Summit Asia that took place in Philippines last August. The forum brought to Manila both Christian and political leaders, friends of Israel, from seven Asian countries, from Korea to Malaysia. Our delegation included Knesset members Yuri Shtern, Chemi Doron, and Israel academics. Asia’s Christian leaders adopted a resolution that demanded three things of their respective governments:

JERUSALEM SUMMIT AFRICA

Ladies and Gentlemen, dear friends:

We have been in your country for only three days, yet we have already felt your extraordinary love and your warmth. We are blessed by the feeling of brotherly unity that we feel here. This is not just a unity of nice people and their gracious hosts. This is the unity described in the Psalms (133:1): «Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!»
This unity is rooted in our common faith in the God of Israel, and his Promises about the coming Unity of the people of Israel, the natural born olive tree, and our Christian brethren – the branches grafted to it by God’s love.

ISRAEL THE LIBERATOR Print E-mail
Until Israel defines its objective as final victory, Islam will not leave it alone. But we don’t need to bomb the whole pyramid of jihad to smithereens. We need to pull out the cornerstones of this totalitarian structure – and it will collapse by itself.

Israeli elites, both Left and Right, are amazingly naïve about strategy, both in politics and spiritual warfare. In any conflict, in any contest, be it soccer or war, a defense without an offensive strategy is doomed. In the conflict with Israel Hamas and Hizbollah are spearheading the Moslem world’s long-term objective: the destruction of Israel and replacement it with Moslem “Falestyn”, a part of khalifate. Slowly and surely the Moslem world is progressing to its objective, waging a military, political, psychological, and demographic jihad against the Jewish state.

Closing Remarks. Jerusalem Summit Asia. Print E-mail
I would like to thank again the organizers of the Jerusalem Summit Asia: the Kol Adonai Foundation, the Jerusalem East Gate Foundation and personally Mrs. Marisa Albert.

Let me tell you again that I see a global prophetic sign in this gathering. It’s not only a demonstration of devotion and love to Israel and Jerusalem.
It’s a sign that humanity is ready to create alternative forms of unity between the nations. Unity based not on political calculations, on forming blocks and coercing votes, like the one we see in the UN and other alliances, not unity based on the lust for profits like in globalization, but unity based on eternal moral values, on the word of God.

Modern Israel's Role in World's Spiritual Print E-mail
Jerusalem Summit Asia. August 2004. Manila, Philippines.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

When we had the first Jerusalem Summit last October in Israel, we hoped to gather in Jerusalem the people of moral clarity from around the globe. We succeeded, and I was happy: it was a sign that people of good faith are ready to close ranks around Jerusalem.

I could never imagine that our Summit will inspire its Filipino participants to create this event, and now, as I stand here, I feel more than just happy and more than privileged: I am in awe.
Because what we are seeing here in this hall is another sign of Biblical prophecies coming true.
Nations of the islands of the sea, as foreseen by Isaiah and Zacharia, are turning their eyes to the reborn Jerusalem. Moreover, they are uniting around Jerusalem, calling their righteous gathering a Jerusalem Summit Asia

Applying Herzl's Vision to the Arab-Israeli Conflict Print E-mail
Lecture at the Vienna Congress. June 2004

1. It is a great honor to speak in Herzl’s hometown and the birthplace of Zionism. The question we must pose is whether Zionism is still viable – whether Herzl’s dream has come true.

Most Israelis would answer this question in the affirmative. For them, the Zionist mission – Herzl’s vision – consists in creating a safe haven for the Jews. In that sense, Zionism has become reality: the Jewish state has been revived. The journey is over. We should be living like everyone else and enjoying life.

Occupation V. Genocide Print E-mail
An Israeli journalist, a friend of mine, was recently invited on an American radio program to debate the Middle East situation with a colleague, an Arab-American. Like many such debates, this one was a lost cause for the Jewish side. All the facts on terrorism, on the monstrous hate-the-Jew propaganda in Palestinian schools, media, and mosques, all the numbers and stats and quotes were reduced to rubble with one word from his opponent: “occupation”. And the audience agreed: terror is horrible, but it is caused by this nasty occupation.

Thousands of anti-Israel propaganda makers have learned well the recipe developed by the KGB and picked on by the European and American PR firms with PLO for clients: for the West, the word “occupation” is an absolute negative, and can be used (with accompanying phrases like “right to self-determination” and “struggle for independence”) to trump any facts.

Light unto the Neighbor Print E-mail

The conflict will be resolved only when Israel remembers its mission to be a light unto nations. And, just as charity starts at home, it has to bring light unto its closest neighbor – the Palestinians. Only the genuine liberation of Palestinians from the tyrannical regime of PA and the pagan ideology of jihad will yield Israel genuine security.

The United States today bring liberation to the people of the Middle East and deserve all the praise for it. But Israel was the first to be entrusted with the mission of being a light unto nations – not just the light of the Torah, but practical liberation from tyranny and pagan worship. Yet modern Israeli leaders betrayed this mission. Israel’s atheist liberal elites in fact resurrected the abject shtetl mentality of paying off the evil, of surviving behind the ghetto walls – all in order to be left in false peace.

Opening/Closing Remarks Print E-mail

Opening Remarks

The ultimate goal of this Summit is to create an alliance of all individuals and organizations from different nations and faiths who realize the grave danger our democratic civilization faces. I'm talking about the new Totalitarianism, represented by radical Islam, and about moral relativism which erodes our resolve to fight and destroy these evil forces.

We see Radical Islam as the third onslaught of Totalitarian Evil on the free mankind in the last 100 years. The first two were Fascism and Communism. The free world managed to defeat them by uniting, working out a joint strategy, and mastering resolve to fight and prevail. Now, too, is the time to unite and lay out a coherent moral and political strategy in that crucial fight.
